I love that my mom’s closet serves as a vintage free-for-all (whenever she’s okay with me taking her stuff). Found my new summa’ stunna’ shades.

I apparently have crow-like tendencies, because I seem to have picked up a habit of being attracted to shiny things.

Retail therapy does wonders. I feel completely refreshed - two hours of gawking at nice things, most of which I can’t afford, and picking up a couple of new items made the horrendous experience of 13 exam papers within 3 days all better. I got these Tommy Hilfiger babies 65% off their regular price!!! Since I’ve been looking for knee-high boots forever, this was perfect. Please disregard my disgusting face. Regardless of how much better I feel, my eyebags and general ability to keep my eyes open are still recovering.

I fink dis kewl:
Since I couldn’t party it up irl for the past two months, I decided to let my nails and my shoes display a little energy to make up for my lack thereof. I actually am really proud of how the nails turned out because I had originally just planned on spelling out a motivation message via one letter on each of my nails, but this looks so much more exciting, I think :D I painted my nails a almost hot pink-coral colour, then (THIS IS LEGIT!) used a chopstick to randomly draw turquoise on my pink nails. Good thing to know I was really productive when I was studying.
My shoes epitomize what the last 3 days felt like. I wrote 13 exam papers in total and I entered most of them feeling like I had just been in a car crash. Yay for pathetic fallacy?
IB mock exams done? Check! I finally had time to do some quick thrifting at the Salvation Army store today. I found the super comfy sweaters in these pictures for only a grad total of $10! I’ve missed finding lovely things for negligible prices :)

Today, I finally wore something that made me feel slightly less frazzled and more put-together. I swear that everything I’ve worn since school restarted after winter break two weeks ago announces to the world that I am a super stressed teenager who is beyond caring, yay. IB MOCK EXAMS, I’M GON’ DESTROY YOU because painting my nails an obnoxiously delightful summer colour IN THE WINTER makes me feel like I can do anything. Ps. Sorry I look super scary and gross.
